Toddlers these days just don’t know how lucky they are. Toddler tables are one of the many advantages the young ones have that we adults most likely missed out on.

I do not know a tot who does not enjoy their own special table – and on top of that the table fits them just like a diaper. Toddler tables are perfect for eating meals and snacks. Tots love to mimic their moms and pops. They like to feel that they are grown up with their own special table that is perfect for them in every way. Tots can be occupied for hours by coloring on their own toddler table without making a mess on the nice dining table. Also, toddler table manufacturers have designed the tables to be wiped down where even crayons marking can be easily cleaned making the table look new again. Besides coloring, toddlers can examine fun picture books, put together fun animal puzzles over and over, or even drive their favorite toy car all around the table.

Toddler tables are excellent for pre-school studies and activities. Young lady tots can have their own tea party sharing the table with her favorite dolls. Toddler tables are designed and tot proven to withstand toddler abuse such as standing and jumping (not recommended), dragging, crawling, and any other toddler activity.

Toddler tables are much safer than adult tables and chairs which require a booster. If a crayon falls to the floor, the tot can retrieve it themselves without falling. I don’t know of any toddler who has not dropped their food on the floor and then chased it down as fast as they can. Again, with a toddler table, the distance to the floor is much shorter and safer than from an adult table.

Toddler tables generally come with one to four chairs and additional chairs are usually available to match the table. Typical toddler table height ranges from 14 inches to 27 inches. Of course toddler tables can come in plastic and wood and vary in weight and dimensions. The plastic tables and chairs are an excellent choice as they are more easily moved than the heavier wood tables. The wood tables are nicer looking and add a little more class to you toddler’s bedroom. Toddler tables can come with built-in storage bins to store toys and art supplies. The cost ranges from $45 to $250. The low end of the cost will most likely be made of plastic. The more expensive toddler tables have extra features (storage bins) and be constructed of wood. Toddler tables are generally for those tots between 18 months and 3 years old.

Toddler tables are, for the most part, simple to put together and many come in one piece where no assembly is needed. Toddler tables are very durable and easy to clean. They should last a long time; in fact the tot should outgrow it before it wears out.

Your tot will enjoy a toddler table because using it will increase feelings of independence, build self-esteem, and improve motor skills.
